Virtual Hangouts are focused on kids and youth who use AAC. Let’s create, learn, and have fun together! Drop-in options typically available.
Heart Speak is an official licensed picture communication symbols (PCS) publisher; therefore, these symbols are used in visuals, videos, and examples. However, all symbols are welcome to join Virtual Hangouts!

Part 1 (30 mins): Come explore the Labyrinth AAC Toolkit, activities and resources developed and curated by Heart Speak Journeys! Discover how the Labyrinth brings AAC to life through themed, symbol-supported, playful activities.
Part 2 (30 mins): Let’s get creative together! Heart Speak Journeys infuses AAC learning and playful creative expression while inspiring community connections. Express your creative self, collaborate with others, and help add to the Heart Speak Journeys Gallery! Collages, haikus, and more!!
Open to all ages of AAC users and their family & caregivers who want hands-on, playful support in using AAC everyday

Virtual Clubs
Virtual Clubs are open to kids and youth who use AAC who are committed to a weekly or monthly series to complete a group endeavor.

Virtual Connections
Virtual Connections are offerings for kids, their family, friends, and/or caregivers. Virtual Connections help the community learn and feel more confident in using AAC, thereby supporting and honoring the communication of the child they love.

AAC After Bedtime
Weekly Wednesday Evening Sessions
Feb 4, Feb 11, Feb 18, Feb 25, March 4, March 11
7 pm -8 pm Pacific Standard Time
8 pm – 9 pm Mountain Time
AAC After Bedtime invites family members and caregivers to participate in dynamic activities with a focus on learning to become more proficient with their child’s AAC device. Like learning a second language, practice is essential for building confidence in learning where words and phrases are located, how to search for words, and how to support their child’s use in daily life. AAC After Bedtime is a playful way to learn, as well as build connections with other parents, family members, and caregivers. AAC is a journey – let’s keep it playful, supportive, and real.
