Camp Corbett for All
Heart Speak Journeys, in collaboration with Eloise Grout Koehler, will be hosting three pilot camps in the Portland Metro area over the next year! The Camp Corbett for All program would not be possible without the generous support of the James R. Kuse Family Foundation, the fiscal sponsorship of Community Vision, and Make-A-Wish Oregon, who granted a wish to bring the original Camp Corbett to life.

Closing the Gap

Heart Speak Journeys and Eloise Grout Koehler plan to present A Community-Based AAC Immersion Model at Closing the Gap on October 22, 2026 in Minneapolis, MN. We are honored and excited to share our findings from the original Camp Corbett, as well as the Camp Corbett for All pilot program.
Closing the Gap is an annual national assistive technology (AT) conference attended by AT/AAC users, family members and caregivers, educators, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, medical providers, and community advocates from around the world.
Colorado Speech-Language Hearing Association (CSHA) Conference

Heart Speak Journeys and Eloise Grout Koehler plan to present A Community-Based AAC Immersion Model at the annual Colorado Speech-Language Hearing Association (CSHA) Conference on October 3rd, 2026 in Thorton, CO. We are honored and excited to share our findings from the original Camp Corbett, as well as the Camp Corbett for All pilot program.
The Colorado Speech-Language Hearing Association (CSHA) is a professional association of speech-language pathologists (SLPs) and audiologists who specialize in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of communication, swallowing, and hearing disorders. The annual CSHA conference supports the continuing education, advocacy, and networking of SLPs and Audiologists in the state of Colorado.
